Every Harrington cap has brass adjusters on each side that fit heads from 52 to 62 cm (20.5 to 24.4 in). That covers nearly every man, small heads and big heads included.

Not needed for most men, but if you're at the very small or very large end, here's how to be sure.
- Take a soft tape measure. No tape? Use a piece of string and measure it against a ruler afterwards.
- Wrap it around your head where the cap sits: about 1 cm above your eyebrows and ears, around the widest part at the back.
- Keep it snug but not tight. Anything between 52 and 62 cm (20.5 and 24.4 in) fits.
